Foundation Mediation Training Course

Course Information

This 5 day training course is designed for individuals who want to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of conflict resolution.

This course is accredited by the College of Mediators. Upon successful completion, you can register as a Trained Mediator with the College of Mediators, enabling you to mediate in community and workplace disputes. This course is a foundation training and will allow you to further train in the the specialist area of SEND Mediation

Course Content

This is an in-person course, featuring case studies and practical sessions throughout

It covers communication and conflict theories, equipping you with essential mediation skills and strategies.

Days 1-3: The theories behind communication and conflict, and provide an understanding of mediation and its core principles.
Days 4 and 5: Practical skills and role play assessment.

Venue

The course is held at our main office base in Telford’s Southwater just off Junction 5 of the M54. The venue is a short walk from Telford Central train station which has connections from Birmingham and Wales.

Southwater is conveniently located next to Telford’s main shopping area and has hotels, bars and restaurants on the doorstep of the training venue.
